The Floyd Newsum Summer Studios Program provides an opportunity for emerging, socially engaged artists to create and exhibit work that respond to and/or is reflective of the community. Summer Studio 25 invites you to explore the artistry and mechanics of urban forms that have shaped flourishing communities for centuries. With a focus fashion bachelor degree on beauty in human-scaled city building, you’ll learn how timeless design principles can be applied to modern development opportunities. Summer Studios is fortunate to be surrounded by talented artists who love to teach! [newline]Gain insightful and creative tips, and scratch that artist-itch of yours in one of our diverse workshops taught by our community of artists.Most of these classes require a certain number of students enrolled. Year-round, ongoing instruction that does not have an official start date and end date.

This summer school is being organized in collaboration with INTBAU USA. Our 2025 Summer Studio applications have officially closed. Big changes are coming to some of Walt Disney World’s hotels. First up, the Universal Mega Movie Parade will return on April 12th and run through November 13th.

 

Jeremy Johnson is one of three jurors for this year’s selection panel. Billion Tekleab is a former Summer Studios participant and one of three jurors for this year’s selection panel. Her practice explores the materiality of objects, disassembling wood and steel, and building with dirt and paint, seeking to make visible the experiences of resistance, grief, joy, and softness. Universal is also celebrating Annual Passholders this summer with some exclusive perks. Universal Orlando is celebrating summer with 12 (!!) exclusive offerings, including 5 new things!

 

Learn painting techniques of blending, textural underpainting, glazing, and transparency while working with watercolor, acrylic, and oil. All activities take place in the rehearsal halls, stages, and green spaces of our beautiful campus in Malvern. The Summer Evans Studio team strives to provide the highest quality of professional service and best salon experience possible. We use only the finest products, and our stylists are well-trained in up-to-date trends and techniques.

 

Making Music That Matters

 

I get asked a lot of questions about it; people seem to be interested in the story, the different parts of the project in terms of the text, the linoleum blocks, the prints, and the sound piece. I think it’s made people very curious and interested in learning more about TX288, its affect on the environment surrounding it, what it’s meant for Houston, and its history as a whole. It’s certainly made me more interested in exploring those things more deeply.

 

We’re a full service creative production house based in Sydney, Australia. We live for what we do – creating authentic, meaningful content for brands and bands. Classes are held once a week – please call in advance to confirm the availability of classes. Project Row Houses served as a big inspiration for my installation.

Summer Studios Arts Academy enrolls students of any race, color, nationality, religion, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded to/ made available to students at the school. Summer Studios is an all-inclusive art space providing community classes for kids, teens, and adults of all skill levels, since 2005. For the student who has taken several clay classes and feels comfortable making basic forms. Expect troubleshooting sessions and a variety of teacher lead demos.

 

After-School Studios offers insight into building a portfolio and into the art school admissions process. These studios are meant to help students increase both their inventive and expressive portions of their artistic portfolio. Three two-week sessions for students 10–13 years old, Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Students will work in three of our four studios every day creating a variety of projects. MCG Youth is offering an exciting opportunity for Pittsburgh area youth (grades 5-12) to create art in our world-class facility. Use state-of-the-art equipment and professional-grade materials to create one-of-a-kind works of art in our ceramics, photography, design, and digital art studios.

 

Additionally, in honor of Back to the Future‘s 40th anniversary, exclusive new merchandise will be available. Summer Art Studios classes are held on the historic, park-like grounds of UTSA Southwest, located at the intersection of Augusta and Navarro (across from the Central Library). At times, individual classes may include an off-site field trip as part of the learning experience. In those instances, it will be required that personal transportation is provided for each student. MassArt’s Winter Workshops are two-day programs offered each January and February, that give high school students a chance to explore the arts. An intensive four-week program for the young artist who is serious about their work.
